The Level 1 AAT Access Award in Bookkeeping course is an excellent introduction to the world of accountancy and finance.
This qualification provides a solid foundation in single entry bookkeeping. Learners will be given the knowledge and confidence they need to develop finance and business skills. A standalone course, it teaches the basics of bookkeeping systems for beginners, enabling learners to take more control, reduce costs and increase margins.
This course is fully-funded for Lancashire small business owners and employees enrolling before 31st December 2018.

Who is it for?
The Level 1 AAT Access Award in Bookkeeping is ideally suited to anyone who is responsible for or has an interest in managing finances and invoices and would like to gain a formal accountancy qualification.
How long does the course last?
This qualification will take 10 weeks to complete.
How is the course delivered?
Learning takes place online with a flexible schedule, making it easy to fit around business commitments. Our team of specialist accountancy trainers conduct progress reviews and are on hand in case of any questions relating to the course material.
To qualify for full funding, your business must employ fewer than 250 staff, and be registered in Lancashire. Applications must be received before December 31st 2018.
No prior knowledge of accountancy is required.
After taking this introductory-level course, learners may wish to progress on to the AAT Level 3 Accountancy qualification. The Level 3 course is 90% funded through government co-investment for small and medium-sized businesses.
